Con “Love (The) Ominous World”, torna a ricomporsi il duo formato da Blu & Exile. Il progetto è interamente prodotto dal secondo con un inconfondibile marchio Soulful e, tra gli altri, vanta i featuring di Aloe Blacc, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Kurupt, KXNG Crooked e Fashawn. This album – racconta il rapper – is our most unique work to date. We took a different approach with the direction, while still staying true to the culture our music has built with our fan base. Un disco nuovo, quindi, nel senso che raccoglie anche sfide inedite per la coppia, pur celebrando il carattere che li ha contraddistinti all’interno della scena. It was the feeling you imagine you’d want to feel after working so hard on something, to make it all worth it, at least for just that moment – aggiunge Exile. But that’s all we needed to feel, to know we were done.
